I wanted to become a lawyer to learn a profession dealing with a legal system which affects much of what I do every day, while at the same time, gaining the means to support myself and potentially my family. I think that by becoming a lawyer, I will expand the choice of things that I can do as a career as well as the ways in which I think about the world.
